Jon Wilhite has been awarded an OTA Resident Research Grant

•   PGY-2 resident Jon Wilhite has been awarded an OTA Resident Research Grant for his research with Drs. Anglen, Kacena and Chu on "Efficacy and Dose Evaluation of TPO in Healing Critical-Sized Femoral Defects". This project will evaluate if a thrombopoietin coated scaffold enhances healing of femoral shaft bone defects in rats. The femurs will be fixated with intramedullary K-wires to simulate intramedullary nail fixation.
